Home, Summer 2010
Sudden thunderstorm
This one hit like none other I've witnessed before. I still remember the splintering crack sound followed by the loudest clap of thunder before the rain spilled promptly from the sky with so much vigor it knocked over our pot plants. I'd never seen anything like it, the spontaneity had caught the sun unhidden, and the light had caught on each drop. I love summer rain, it seems so fresh and clean as opposed to the cold grey drizzle in winter, the smell is amazing and getting wet doesn't run the risk of consequential illness.
