New Year's Eve

I haven't been taking many photos lately, only cheap party shots with a cheaper camera. On New Year's Eve I hitched a roadtrip with some friends down to a party in Figtree. I didn't feel like braving the crowds and fireworks and commotion in Sydney so it worked out well for me with a few friends and a bong, lying on a trampoline in a stranger's backyard. The house sat on a hill and we looked out to Nan Tien buddhist temple and Wollongong city lights, at midnight there came fireworks in the distance but the stars were still more dazzling. You don't see stars shine so bright in the city.
